Il Borghetto is divided into apartments of various sizes, all different from each other, obtained in the ancient rooms of il Borgo, some of which always maintain the original colors and walls. In the past centuries the villa has been owned by noble Florentine families who have succeeded each other and at the beginning of the 1900s it belonged to the Royal House of Savoia. It is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and centuries-old trees of elm, cypress, holm, oak, laurel, almond. From all sides you can enjoy magnificent views of the countryside, some apartments have private outdoor spaces such as terraces or gardens others have a splendid view from the windows. The apartments are spacious, all with living room and equipped kitchen, and offer guests a stay in freedom.

We are brother and sister with their respective spouses we have come from this land for generations and all 4 of us together for more than 20 years with great enthusiasm welcome our guests from all over the world. Il Borghetto is our life, your home, a place where you can breathe an ancient history like the walls of this village that we proudly preserve after 3 years of renovations that have brought the ruin back to life. At Il Borghetto our guests feel safe and immersed in a familiar and genuine environment. For those who want to relax there are spaces that guarantee tranquility and privacy. If you need, we are always here to assist you and happy to give you suggestions, information, advice to get to know our land. If you are curious about our cuisine 3 evenings a week you can taste here our typical homemade dishes of the area combined with the best local wines, and all this in the restaurant housed in the ancient cellars of the villa or on the panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyards. AIR CONDITIONING - available and included in the price from June 8 to September 6 inclusive. CENTRAL HEATING - available according to the regional calendar until April 30th included, distributed in time slots.

Il Borghetto is ideally located in the quiet of the Tuscan countryside for a relaxing stay but also close to the most beautiful places that our splendid Tuscany has to offer as city of art, ancient medieval villages. -San Gimignano (5 minutes by car) and Volterra (30 minutes by car) -Siena with Piazza del Campo and Monteriggioni (40 minutes by car) - Chianti wine region with Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Greve in Chianti (30 minutes by car) which are small medieval villages in the hilly countryside - Montalcino, Montepulciano and Pienza - south of Siena (1 hour and 30 minutes by car) and Bagno Vignoni with thermal spring - Florence (capital of Tuscany), (50 minutes by car) - Small neighboring medieval villages:: Certaldo, Colle Val d'Elsa, Casole d'Elsa From here it is very easy to reach the destinations indicated above. We are available for information on places of tourist interest with maps, directions and booking service for museums, wineries.
