I was having a hard time deciding on what to book when in the area, and i'm extremelly happy i booked my night here. First i was greeted by this beautiful dog ad then i met the owner! Very nice, wellcoming and happy host. Cabins are beautiful and super cozy! Amazing views to the mountains and the fields around! If you need any assistance the owners live close by. Kitchen is well equiped. Very clean, confortable beds and nice shower. There is an area outisde where you can sit and drink a coffee or wait for the northern lights. It's a great spot to catch the auroras! Varmahlíð is closed by and you cab do shopping there or order some food. There are 2 petrol stations here. Will definitely come back next time i'm in the area. Loved the piece and quiet of the place! Thank you!

This family-run Country Hotel´s rooms include tea/coffee facilities, a patio and panoramic views of Skagafjordur. Everything was AMAZING. This place is AMAZING. I cannot recommend it enough. A real fantasy/romanticism vibe with the quiet surroundings and almost no signs of civilization. I will remember it forever. Try the birch bark soup!
