There is a washing machine. Werndee is located in a quiet area of Hobart, however it is close to convenience stores and cafes, and is only a very short drive from the CBD. Upon arriving, our host provided us with a rundown of how to use the keyless entry to the apartment, along with some other information about the provided facilities, then left us to enjoy the property. The apartment is gorgeous, with many conveniences that we did not expect, such as a towel heater, small sitting / sun room partitionable with curtains, and a rice cooker (much appreciated!). The kitchen is very well stocked with all the cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils one would expect. The oven and stove top are excellent (we grilled some oysters purchased from the dock on our second night). In the dining room, a shelf with plenty of information about Hobart and surrounds, including cafe and restaurant recommendations, is supplied. The wifi was fast, and the television was top-notch. In addition, we forgot a couple of items when we left, and our host was quick to let us know and arrange to post the forgotten items! For that we are very grateful. When we visit Hobart again, Werndee will be our first choice of accommodation, and we would have no hesitation recommending Werndee to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient location to spend their days in Hobart.
