We just spent the most wonderful time in the Cape. Our hosts at Bloemenzee Boutique B&B provided not only the most unforgettable location with fantastic rooms, garden and view over Gordons Bay into False Bay, but also with unbelievable hospitality and the perfect level of family integration and respect for privacy. Dear Lidwien and Frans, thank you so much for a truly wonderful time. PS: Anyone staying at this gorgeous venue should seriously consider Frans's exclusive dinner. PPS: We thoroughly appreciated the absence of a TV set in the room.

The location is ideal. Gordon's Bay is a nice little town, not far from Cape Town or the airport. The setting is spectacular, with mountains and sea, and the beach is protected from major waves. There are a number of excellent restaurants within walking distance. The town is safe and the property secure. There is a beautiful drive along the coast towards Betty's Bay, which I highly recommend. There is a colony of African penguins there. Big Skies has a small pool, which we used in the heat of the afternoon. The breakfasts were very good, and there was a decent amount of variety. I enjoy the personal attention of guesthouses and small hotels, and Kobus and Irene were excellent hosts. Conversation at breakfast and the bar with them and other guests was enjoyable. Parking is inside the property gates and is secure.

nice, safe, and quiet location. Olivier and Yasmin were wonderful hosts! They helped us with suggestions, assisted us with getting PCR tests and a fair price and speedy time. The ocean view rooms were very great. They also packed us a nice lunch for our early flight before we left. This place is 10/10.

Gorgeous multi-level house in amazing location. Easy walk to swimming beaches and great restaurants. Beautiful common area in the house with views over the bay. Our room was perfect with balcony facing the bay, super comfortable bed, and cool air conditioning. The owner, Cindy, is the true gem to this property though. So warm and accommodating. We had to leave early for the airport so she got up early with us and packed us the most loving to-go bag of food/drink including homemade delicious muffins (I want that recipe!). We wished we stayed for several days/nights.

The location is impecable. We liked the very tasteful, stylish and modern design of the building and in particular the interior design. The common facilities (pool area, little bar next to the pool, library, ...) are perfect and well thought of. Breakfast is great and breakfast time until noon ist exceptional and wonderful. The best of the loction however is host Lenny who is amazingly friendly, helpful and always approachable. He is just wonderful!
