The B&B, Rivalago is located on the waterfront and a moderate distance from the ferry embarcadero which I only used to arrive and depart. My room was spacious and comfortable with excellent cleaning service and a fabulous view of the lake. The B&B is in a quiet location and a short walk to the restaurants along the embarcadero. I chose Cannobio because it was considerded the prettiest town on the lake although not the most convenient for seeing gardens and palazzi. Those were easily reached by regular bus service, or boat. Gaia was very helpful in determining my connections and printing schedules for me. Commuting to the gardens was a breeze! The breakfast was fresh and varied, with more selection than I would ever have at home, which was a real treat! Both Matteo and Gaia were always available to answer questions and assist with whatever I needed. Matteo even found the program I wanted on Netflix and set it to English for me. Thank you both for making my stay so special.

Al San Michele ofrece wifi gratis y está en Stresa. Este alojamiento libre de humo se encuentra a 1,8 km de Islas Borromeas. Everything is just wonderful in this lovely house. It's super cozy, clean and bright. Location is more than perfect just across the lake and the ferry stop and 5 mins from city center as well. The stuff is extremely kind and welcoming. Would definitely go there again. Thank you and keep going.

El Ca Meison se encuentra en San Bartolomeo. Este bed and breakfast dispone de TV de pantalla plana y baño privado con pantuflas, secador de pelo y ducha. Everything was prefect. The house, the breakfast, the location, Francesca and her Mom were outstanding and nothing was too much to ask.

El B&B Il Poggiolo se encuentra en Stresa, a 1,5 km de las islas Borromeas y a 3,3 km del parque Villa Pallavicino. We had a most enjoyable stay at B&B Poggiolo. Andrea and Valeria are wonderful and helpful hosts. Our suite is spacious, with a fabulous view of Lake Maggiore and the islands. The rooms are tastefully furnished; the bathroom is modern; everything is spotless. We slept very well at night as the house and surrounding area were completely quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was set up in a nice room downstairs, and the spread was lovely every morning. For dinner, there’s a highly rated restaurant within walking distance. One could also take a short drive to nearby towns or to Stresa. We had a rental electric car and used a charging station 12-minutes away on the route to A26. We went to the islands, of course, and drove around Lake Maggiore, stopping at a few towns. The whole area is beautiful.

El B&B VILLA PREZIOSA LAGO MAGGIORE se encuentra en Lesa, a 37 km de Lugano, y ofrece salón compartido y wifi gratis. Excellent place, comfortable and newly renovated room, perfectly clean. Breakfast was delicious. Very quiet place, just a 10 minutes walk to the city center and the train station. Recommended!!!

La Casa Castagna 1620 está situada en Mergozzo, a 39 km de Lugano, y ofrece un restaurante y conexión wifi gratis. This hotel is a true jewel at the lake Mergozzo. The owners are present daily, at least in the evening. Everybody has been very friendly and helpful, from arrival to departure. Parking is available nearby (5 minutes walk), loading and unloading of baggage is possible in front of the hotel. The entire building (which has been orginally erected in 1620, hence the name) has been fully refurbished until one year ago and is maintained in perfect condition. A minor problem with the shower drain in our room has been fixed within a few hours. Our small dog was welcome as well and felt at home immediately. The food is very tasty, the champagne list (!) runs more than ten pages, followed by a very impressive wine list. This is a place for enthusiasts. If you want to have a meal at other places, there are many opportunities in close walking distance. We have had a wonderful week at Casa Castagna 1620 and will definitely come back. El Antico Borgo B&B se encuentra en la zona peatonal del centro histórico de Cannobio, a 21 km de Lugano, y ofrece salón compartido y wifi gratis. The room was very beautiful, clean and it smells very good and no noises. Francisco and Chiara were very friendly. Also good choice of food for breakfast and we can sit outside. I totally recommend this b&b.

El DIMORA SCURONE se encuentra en Cannobio y ofrece alojamiento solo para adultos con bar y jardín. También hay un bar. Todos los alojamientos incluyen hervidor de agua. Wonderful location, we loved the hotel and the family who run the hotel were wonderful and friendly! The breakfast was AMAZING!

El Ratto del Gallo, situado en Stresa, a 1,5 km de las islas Borromeas y a 3,2 km del parque de Villa Pallavicino, ofrece alojamiento con acceso a un jardín con terraza. The breakfast was extraordinary delicious! I need to come back to taste all fantastic dishes. They were very helpful in making a reservation in advance in a very good restaurant nereby. The food there was awesome - including a lake view! it was a wonderful start for my trip so I was able to reach the sea only by walking (starting from Susa). Without their food I might have not been able to do that ;) Thanks a lot for your warm welcome. We had a great time!

El Cascina Canée se encuentra en Angera, a 38 km de Lugano, y ofrece jardín y conexión wifi gratis. Hay estacionamiento privado. We enjoyed a fantastic 4 days ,we could not have been made more welcome and Fabio & Chi Chi we’re amazing hosts. Food was amazing drinks great value and their knowledge of the area and what to do exemplary.The accommodation was beautiful and well appointed.
