It was within walking distance of all that we planned, including a short walk to the location of our tour. The elevator up to the fourth floor was such a treat giving us a glimpse into the past. Our host was so very very kind and accommodating, even sending us with a bagged breakfast on the mornings that we needed to be gone early.

All units feature air conditioning and a flat-screen TV. the place is nice, clean and things look new. host incredible helpful, got us a taxi to pick us up at the airport, as we arrived late at night, and gave all the self-checking instructions that worked pretty well. Place was comfortable, clean, and reasonably priced!!! I highly recommend this place for your stay in Catania!!!! The location is in the middle of the center with lots of bars and restaurants in the neighborhood. Clean and comfortable accommodation. Good night sleep too :)

We had excellent communication with the host who helped us arrange nearby parking and gave us plenty of recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. Check in/check out was smooth. The location is fantastic. It’s in the heart of the historic center, walking distance to all the sights in the city. The room was reasonably quiet considering the location. There was a bit of street noise but nothing too bad. We enjoyed the balcony with lovely views over the city and the original artwork that adorned all of the walls! I would definitely recommend La Maison del Sole for a stay in Palermo.

The breakfast was excellent, typical Sicilian breakfast of breads and sweets, with the addition of requesting eggs. Good coffee. Check-in was easy and the hosts were very helpful and friendly.
