Very clean, spacious room. Good hot water and pressure in the shower. Appreciated having a shared kitchen available to do our own cooking. Quiet place with just four guest rooms located in a residential neighborhood. A 15 minute walk from the city center and a block away from the NUST school restaurant where you can get a good meal for a good price (Mr. Kumar, the accommodation owner, sends the weekly menus via WhattsApp). Laundry service available.

Offering a year-round outdoor pool and views of the pool, House on Olof Palme is located in Windhoek. Free private parking is available on site. House on Olof Palme is as beautiful a guesthouse as you will find in Windhoek. Clean and well maintained, in a safe area, well run, pool, comfy rooms. Mostly a business crowd and regulars, which speaks for the experience. But what makes the place special is the hosts. They know when to chat and make one feel welcome, and when to stay in the background to let guests enjoy their stay. Their staff are well trained and always cheerful. Renette's restaurant recommendations were top notch - not a bad meal while we stayed in town. When we left for our inland trip they even provided us with a well-stocked ice box. We are not normally making aquaintances on vacation. But with these two? One simply wants to stay in touch. Thank you both for your warm hospitality! Until we meet again.

Featuring an outdoor plunge pool with sun loungers and a garden, Olive Grove Guesthouse is located a 5-minute drive from the city centre of Windhoek. Free WiFi is available in public areas. The staff is so kind, attentive and very helpful. The room is nice, clean and with all that is needed.

Maison Ambre Guesthouse is located on the eastern slopes of Luxury Hill, less than 2 km from Windhoek’s city centre. It features a swimming pool and offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Breakfast on the terrace was awesome and Beate was a great host. She even went to the the trouble of finding us a Namibian plug adapter as we only had S. African adapters with us and has a long drive to Etosha, so we didn't want to spend half the day tracking down an electronics store in Windhoek. Also, the property is well located, very secure and the staff were all very friendly. I would highly recommend for any length of stay in Windhoek (and we will be staying again in 3 weeks !!).
