The men's room in the lobby was very dirty. The two men behind the check-in desk could have done something about it. The cleaning staff were working full tilt upstairs and I felt bad for them. They were friendly and so were the servers in the restaurant.

Pleasant, clean and comfortable rooms, lovely countryside setting. Plenty of parking. The food was lovely and reasonably priced. We stayed for 4 nights. Very convenient for the festival we attended over a weekend at the Heart of England Conference Centre, just a five minutes drive away. Breakfast was a buffet for three of the mornings (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) and on the last morning (Monday) was served at the table, as ordered from the menu, which was still plentiful and very tasty. (Whether breakfast is served as a buffet or from the menu, understandably, depends on the number of guest staying at the hotel, we were informed.) Most of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Very good value for money and we would stay again.
