Noto is simply beautiful.
Noto is simply beautiful. If you like history, old churches, palazzos and piazzas, don't miss this gem. It is surrounded by rolling hills and there are plenty of appetising food and drink options.
It is small enough to do in a day, but I would have preferred a couple more days to really linger around and enjoy all the tiny cobblestone laneways and explore a little more.

This is my new favorite place in Sicily.
This is my new favorite place in Sicily. Noto is the perfect ballance of amazing architecture, classy restaurants with outstanding reasonably priced food, great independent boutiques.....all without the insane crowds of so many other places. Perhaps I shouldn't write this. I should tell everyone to go somewhere else. Yes, everyone should just stay in Taormina and leave these pure, clean natural beaches near Noto just the peaceful and quiet and clean way they are now...and forever. Such a great base to explore other towns of Ragusa, Modica and Scicli, but you will LOVE coming back to an amazing meal, gelato and music in Noto.

If you are visiting the East coast of Sicily, Noto is a logical stop to view a Baroque city. Easily walkable, friendly folks, enough of interest for a couple days. But I would definitely try and stay at the MichaEL Garden. Simply fabulous.

Lovely old town with relaxing pedestrian area to walk...
Lovely old town with relaxing pedestrian area to walk through and see all the historic buildings that have a harmony of colour and style. Great restaurant opposite St Francis Church (itself worthy of a visit): Trattoria Al Buco.
Didn't like confusing one way system of narrow streets with parked cars and no easy way out to main roads.
A good location for visiting Syracuse and Modica and beaches of Lido di Noto and San Lorenzo beyond the Vendicari Nature Reserve that has interesting birdlife and greek ruins.
If you want to feel like home in Sicily, go there! It's the nicest place if you want to be in the countryside but close to Noto (by walking about 40 minutes). There's really nothing around but other masserias. You can go by car to the coast or the Laghetti Cavegrande. The food in the restaurant is down to earth, regional and cooked with love. The accommodation is simple put provides all you Really need. The people are warm and welcoming, I'd love to come back when I am around.
This was the coolest place we stayed in Sicily! We arrived at night and were amazed by what we found behind the battered wooden barn-type doors. This beautiful and slick arty little place, that really demonstrates what good design can do for a space. Great combination of old materials and modern renovations. Loved the tiles, the bedside tables, and the stairs to the loft. Check in was easy and there was free parking nearby. Would definitely stay again!
Amazing view, lovely pool, but above all: it is such a quiet, relaxing place! Even the hotel guest were the quiet laid back kind. It was truly amazing. We were literally sad when we had to leave. I slept so well. Noto center was just 10 minutes drive away. This was my favorite accommodation for a loooong time. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful, big variety with healthy options. Great coffee. The garden was fantastic foo. I couldnt have been happier!
Embrace sicily guest House is a wonderful place to stay in Noto. Perfect located in town. The rooms are comfortable, modern and clean! Room service was provided as in the information.
Alessio welcomed us very warmly. We got to know the owners during breakfast time, served by them, and some other stuff. The mood is super familiar and friendly. We had nice talks and got some really good recommendations.
We really enjoyed our time in Noto.
The perfect little quiet stay in Noto! The room was cozy but spacious with a nice seating area on the balcony. Super close walking distance to the main square. The host Gabriele is wonderful! He gave us excellent recommendations for sites to see and restaurants to eat at, he even provided transportation, he really went above and beyond! I highly suggest staying here if you are visiting Noto! Grazie Mille!
Maria Antonietta received us late at night to give over the Oscia loft for 11 nights with pizza and beer. She was all the time very helpful, supporting and had for all our questions regarding the area good and reliable answers. Thank you again so much! The loft was well equiped, comfortable (especially bed and sofa) and big enough for 2 to 3 persons. We spent a great holiday at Noto on Sicily island.
This was the best hotel on our 10 day trip through sicily. The perfect place for a visit to the beautifull city of Noto. The room is absolutely gorgeous and the building itself is also very pretty. The host was very friendly and offered a generous breakfast with freshly prepared breads. The location was also only a 5 minute walk to the center (one street down)
Location was perfect, both for walking in the historic centre and driving around. It is just one block from Via Napoli, where most directions to/from Noto go. Very little trouble to get out of and into the town.
Very spacious and quiet apartment.
Reception was very welcoming at 01:00 at night. A little extra for such late check-in was 100% justified.
Host is super friendly (nicest host ever)
Great breakfast (home-made, biological products)
Free water in bedroom (fridge)
Comfy bed
Good bathroom
Beautiful terrace with great view
Safe and big parking space directly at the hotel
Perfect information concerning the city, Sicily in general and activities
100 % recommendable
it is outstanding the best place in Sicily

I cannot wait to come back ... one day is worth it
The room was spacious, very clean, and the bed very comfortable. The property is very well cared for and the staff is welcoming and helpful.
The location is ideal because, while it allowed us to visit Noto, Ragusa, Siracusa, and Marzamemi, it gave us a beautiful and peaceful place to come back to and relax.
Everything was great. The hospitality by the staff, Carlo the owner and his lovely mom was warm and helped us with everything. The decorations and interior design are amazing, and the breakfast was tasty and made from good, fresh products.
No parking problem, unique advantage in Sicily.
Thanks.
We had a wondeful stay thanks to Ambra. The room was very nice with a view of Noto. The breakfast was amazing with fresh vegetables and fruits from her own garden, and she informed in detail on what to see and donin Noto. Highly recommend this place when visiting Noto.
Best apartment I have ever rented for holidays. Very spacious, beautiful, great lights, well equipped kitchen (which we did not use) fantastic bedroom, sitting room and bathroom. 2 minutes walk from the Cathedral. A dream place where to stay while visiting Noto.
