Literally nothing. If I was forced to say something I liked I would offer that at least the room was nearly suitable for my dog... If I hated my dog

The price is very affordable, it's a private studio with a lot of personal space. It's super neat, clean, and beautiful, fully equipped, and offers tea/coffee. There are even electric blankets! It's very close to town, and the scenery outside the studio is also very beautiful. Everything can only be described as perfect.

We loved our stay here. Great hosts, especially Trish who took good care of us. Breakfast was a standout, with fantastic conversation and history of the area. Although we are New Zealanders, it was really good to interact like a tourist and enjoy the history update at the breakfast table.
The Church at Fox is a restored, 60-year-old church made of stone and New Zealand timber. It offers a patio with mountain views and a luxurious bathroom with a walk-in shower.

Fox Glacier is quite stunning, walk is relatively easy to first viewing point, we didn't get any further due to bad weather. Lovely eating places in town and a grocery store. Quite a small town so very quiet. We weren't there long enough to really explore the area

As a hiker I loved the lakes walks, and also the glacier lookout walk would have been great but the weather on that day was just too wet to complete. The lake Matheson cafe is a lovely place after a hike or good breakfasts beforehand. The town is limited, so if I wasn’t a hiker I would only have stayed a night and moved on.

There are several interesting walks to the glacier, lake etc. The helicopter to the glacier itself can be booked easily from the town. There are a number of good restaurants within easy walking distance. A overnight stay is all that is required to see & do everything.

We did the short tramp to Fox Glacier.
We did the short tramp to Fox Glacier. It’s totally worth the effort.
It’s only 30min drive to Franz Joseph where we tramped the 5 hr Roberts Point track. Reasonably arduous tramp, but again totally worth the effort.
Beautiful cosy cottage managed by lovely host. Situated very close to fox glacier and provides some exllelant views of mountain ranges. Its a small farm with little garden all around the cottages, provides glimpse of local life. To top it all hostess serves excellent home backed cakes, breads in beautifully decorated dining area with exotic items over lovely conversations.
Had amazing stay there, felt our stay was too short.
The location of the accomodation is pretty good and not too far away from the center. From the room you've a directly view to Mt. Cook which is really epic. Our room was spacious and clean and overall it's a super choice for a relatively cheap room inside the Fox Glacier Village. In addition the man at the reception was super friendly and gave us a map and lot of hints what we can do in the area.
A grand old dame. Somewhat tired, but loved nonetheless. Not too many options in Fox Glacier but this seemed one of the best on offer. The room was comfortable and served its purpose. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to use the laundromat which was handy and breakfast was okay.
The hosts were fantastic, the comfortable, and the room immaculate! The included breakfast was superb and we were even given homemade lemon filled muffins on arrival! I cannot convey just how amazing this host is and how pleased we are with the stay. This was the BEST stay we have had in New Zealand!
Stunningly beautiful location. The comfortable rooms were well-appointed and cosy - able to withstand the rapidly changing Winter weather in Fox Glacier. The proprietor could not have been more helpful and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely place.
I want to give a special shout out to Matt for being so helpful with my booking for a helicopter ride out of Fox Glacier. Although things didn’t go as hoped in the end, it certainly wasn’t because he didn’t go above and beyond to try and I’m grateful for that.
Nice Motel in the small town of Fox Glacier. Very friendly staff. Room setting was fine with two bedrooms. Quite and a good place to explore the nature. Good restaurant just next door. Good price level.
A wonderful spot to stay in Fox Glacier. Comfortable beds and rooms and plenty of toilets and showers. The kitchen was decently big and several places to sit in groups or alone.
Misty Peaks was the perfect place to stay for my group of 11. Very comfortable. Handy location to Fox Glacier CBD, cafe's etc We would all definitely stay there again.
Beautiful lodge. Great staff. I actually lost my phone and the owner of the lodge helped me look around for it. We also saw a lemur in the tree at night! It was so cool.
