The room was lovely and quiet with a very comfortable bed. The owner provided a brand new baby bed with a great mattress upon request. The masseria itself was beautiful with comfortable common spaces to lounge in. Breakfast was great with a variety of options and always with a tart baked by the owner, as well as fruit from his garden and eggs from the chickens. Upon request the owner would cook beautiful dinners that would be enjoyed outside in the courtyard. Alessandro was a gracious and kind host, always ready to help with any request. It was a truly pleasurable experience staying here. I'm sure it will be even better once his pool and spa are ready next year.

This is an exceptional location. It's off the beaten pass and very quiet, but in a beautiful setting, there is a lovely pool, and is surrounded by fields of grapes and an olive grove. There is a vegetable garden, and the chef uses vegetables from that garden, along with meat from animals raised at the Masseria and wine from it's vineyard. Our room was composed of 3 linked Trulli - one the bedroom, a second the sitting room and the third a bedroom. However, despite this description, the feeling is very upscale and not rustic, and the very friendly and knowledgable staff made us feel that they could address any request that we might have. We had both a wonderful dinner and breakfast at the restaurant on a lovely terrace on the back of the main building that made us feel completely safe in regards to COVID. Overall, this is a 5 star facility based on any measure you'd like to use.

The best place in all of our trip to Italy. Because of the host! He welcomed us very warmly and showed around his property and was very helpful. There is a bio fruit garden around the house and it is a very quite and relaxing environment. The house was clean and comfortable, and we had everything we needed.

When I had to leave this place I nearly burst into tears, and thought I might chain myself to the nearest olive tree and refuse to go! It's one of the best places I've ever stayed. My partner and I and another couple stayed and had a house each so that we both had bedrooms "under the cone". These historic houses have been restored and done up by Aldo, the owner, to a very high standard and with a lot of thought e.g. the fact that the bedrooms are under the cone in all three of the houses there. They are beautiful. They are fully equipped with everything you need, comfortable and have lots of outside space. The setting for these houses is in Aldo's olive grove which again is a beautiful peaceful place to be, and to go for a walk in the morning. There are all kinds of other fruit trees too and you can help yourselves as much as you like. The location of this place is near Villa Castelli which isn't one of the tourist towns, but certainly offers all the amenities you need, like shops and a few places to eat within a couple of miles. It is slightly further away from the main tourist towns but only by 5-10 mins which to me was worth it to stay somewhere so amazing. Aldo the owner is lovely and will help with anything you need. You need a car to get out and about and I recommend taking some mosquito spray.
