Breakfast was included in our booking and we still had the privilege of enjoying our breakfasts. Hester's husband also gave us an tour of the fossil museum, which we thoroughly enjoyed. A supper were offered at a very fair price, which we accepted and it was delivered to our cottage. Very tasty Karoo tripe and a chicken potjiekos.

Rustic farmhouse experience, just what we needed. Would love to stay for a week with friends or family. The optional dinner and breakfast we decided to take was delicious and the instructions how to prepare the food, was a nice touch. Definitely need a 4x4 to get to the cottage.

We’ve been back 3 times this year.. can’t stay away.

After a coffee with self baked cake we took a refreshing dive in the pool. Afterwards we could enjoy an amazing diner (the hostess is a chef!) with a splendid wine. Our accomodation was very clean. It had a seperate kitchen, bathroom and 2 bedrooms with a super large master bedroom with views on the garden. We had a lovely stay. Just what we needed on our road trip to Cape Town. Very much worth a visit.

Limited free WiFi is offered at Fairbairn. The accommodation was brilliant. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Setting was stunning. Especially watching the rain fall while sitting on the porch. The service from Eben was spot on. He was very helpful and, when requested, he gave us great advice on travel routes.
