The most efficient & polite host that one can find anywhere! Comfortable bed & peaceful nights sleep, with sliding door onto a varanda & pool side. What a relief to ge home to a swimming pool after a hot day of 35°C. Home from Home! They even booked restaurant meaks for us - just perfect! Thank You, Rgds S & D

We liked everything, great value for money. Clean room, good location close to the main road (but still quiet), nice little splash pool and garden. What in times of growing load shedding times becomes more important: they had an inverter which is really handy. It can become a problem if you arrive at your guest house after a long day and you aren't able to charge your smart phone phone and aren't even able to put on some lights to see what's in your luggage.

Beautifully decorated rooms with attention to detail. Lovely touch having some complementary Port in the room. Plenty of choice for Breakfast and cooked extremely well. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent. Lovely having Ostriches in the grounds. 10-15 drive to Oudsthoon.

The Raw Karoo Guest House appears like a wonderful oasis in the middle of the city. whereas Oudtshoorn itself is not very big and not very fancy, but the purpose being there is to be connected with the ostrich farms as well as a nice Safari place, and that’s a sufficient purpose. The stuff - a very pretty and nice family (!) - you get connected with very easily is doing their utmost, make you feel comfortable and welcome. Their premises, a really clean nice pool, safe inside parking and an exceptional (wow!!!) breakfast they’re making for you handmade you rarely will find in any other hotel … so all in all, it’s every ‘penny’ worth staying there and feeling great - thanks a lot Gisela and family… and we will be back!
