This hostel is made in the building of a former old school. That makes it look like a cool and creative maze with beautiful staircase, spacious social area and cozy rooms. Staff is amazing and fun, caring and friendly people who offered free handmade cake to all the guests. It was a delight to stay in Paradise Cave. The kitchen is big and has everything you need to cook decent meals, and also there is a nice waterfall view from the window. Shared bathroom is spacious and clean. Room was comfy and had neat decorations. The spirit of the place is all friendly and youthful, was very refreshing mentally :)

Hvammból Guesthouse is a small, family-run guest house situated 10 km from Vík. Very beautiful view through the window. The room was completely equipped. Warm and comfortable place. Easy check-in.

What we liked: - breakfast - they had salmon with herbs and a delicious tuna salad - the house is located outside Selfoss town in a quiet and wild area - no outdoor shoes inside policy to keep the dirt and mud at the door - although there was a guesthouse with shared bathrooms, we had a sink in the room.

Set in Vík and only 1 km from Reynisfjara Beach, Prestshús 2 Guesthouse offers accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Comfortable and incredibly friendly owner! She let my daughters feed the baby lamb it’s bottle, play with her dogs and visit her ponies. She gave excellent recommendations and the rooms were pretty, comfortable, and clean. My family didn’t want to leave!
