Location was around two km from the town but wvery time I needed to go to the town, hotel arranged a tuk tuk immediately. So, it was not an issue and not expensive either. Rooms were clean. I learned many things from our conversations, and enjoyed watching Karna perform the rituals for the first day of Pongal. The rice dish he cooked was very tasty. Karna organized a tuk tuk tour of Jaffna peninsula for me with Sinthu. Sinthu showed me many interesting sights. He also told me about Tamil history and current Jaffna customs. I recommend Gatetrees to anyone.
