Waking up early to the sounds of birds, sitting on the balcony to watch the sunrise, eating breakfast, and watching fishermen on the lake. Perfect!!! I felt relaxed and enjoyed every minute.

The owners were definitely the best part about this property. They are so sweet and caring, like a mother and father away from home. The food is also very good! If you are a real traveler, the kind that wants to experience actual culture; the people, food, and local environment, then this is a wonderful homestay. Embrace Sri Lankan culture; eat the food, hang with the locals, and pay in rupees! What a great experience. I highly recommend this place.

Objekat Villa Ravichini, koji se nalazi u gradu Polonaruva, na 8 min. Nice, simple and very clean homestay, close to the ancient city. Possibility to rent a bike. I stayed only one night. Ravi the owner is very kind, humble and helpful, he even showed me around the lake with bicycles. And he always finds the solution;-)

The value for this price is very good. The room was clean, since I was the only guest sharing the bathroom was no problem. Staff was friendly.

They had the FASTEST WiFi (SLT Fiber)! Since they have a generator, the modem stayed on even during a power cut. -The owner was more professional than other guesthouse owners. Very pleasant

Situated in Polonnaruwa, 27 km from Sigiriya, Udesh Guest features a spacious outdoor terrace, free internet access and free parking facilities. Cute garden and little private patio, serene atmosphere, good food and bike rental available (and recommended to see the ruins!). The owner and his wife were really accommodating, helpful and lovely!

Offering free bikes, Luxman Guest House is located at a 10-minute walk from the Polonnaruwa Railway Station. Free WiFi access is available. 1. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the main street and bus station，so it's convenient to buy things and take the bus. 2. Luxman is very enthusiastic and friendly, always patiently answering my questions about transportation, location, etc., and always attentive to my needs in terms of accommodation and eating. 3. I really like Polonnaruwa. If I have a chance in the future, I will come to this lovely town and Luxman Guest House again. 4. Hope everthing is fine.

Objekat Thisal Guest House, koji je smešten u gradu Polonaruva, na 8 min. hoda od znamenitosti Deepa Uyana, u ponudi ima smeštaj sa vrtom, besplatnim privatnim parkingom, zajedničkim salonom i... Magical location! The property is located few minutes walk to the ruins and 3 minutes walk to a big lake, where you can have a leisurely walk and enjoy a beautiful view. You can also hire a bicycle at the property for 800 LKR. Kalum, the property owner, does great elephant safaris. His safaris are better than organized tours, cause he doesn't follow 10 other jeeps. He will take you different route, where you get to see more elephants without disturbing them and from really close up. I had a jeep to myself and i absolutely loved it! Would highly recommend this safari. You can also buy precious stones from Kalum, as his family runs a mine and have been in a business for many years. Kalum is very knowledgeable about many things and will look after you. The property has very good WIFI.
