He helped us arrange a safari with a very good guide and took us around to local attractions like birdwatching and batwatching and made getting to and from Tissa easy. Good food and clean room.

The house is located at the shore of a beautiful lake. You can see on the lake birds, water buffalos, and big crocodiles. We took a safari through them with King Safari. I am glad we went with their recommendation as they provided an experienced driver, and we saw 2 leopards. The room was spacious, clean, with a big mosquito net and the bed was comfortable. Dinner and breakfast were huge and tasty. I would recommend staying here at least 2 nights.

Bundala Bird Sanctuary is 26 km from the guest house, while Situlpawwa is 39 km from the property. The nearest airport is Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport, 28 km from Lake Face Cabana. This place is magical, cool cabanas with beautiful lake view, lot of birds to watch and listen to, very peacefull and silent, sunrise right over the lake. The host family are such a lovely and friendly people. Breakfast was absolutelly delicious. Highly recommend staying!

Hot water, good AC, very clean, couldn’t be nicer!
