Kirinda Heaven - Yala, a property with an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, is set in Kirinda, 700 metres from Kirinda Beach, less than 1 km from Nidangala Beach, as well as 14 km from Tissa Wewa. I loved everything. We had an eleven-day scooter trip across the island, and Kirinda was our last stay before going home to Galle. The property is very well maintained; it looks new, minimalistic, and stylish. Everything was just perfect: the mattresses were super comfy, the AC worked properly, the shower was great, etc. But the main thing was the stuff and the food they cooked. I hadn't expected that I'd have one of the best dinners in five months in a place I had never heard of. Just spectacular!

Located within less than 1 km of Tissa Wewa and 25 km of Bundala Bird Sanctuary in Tissamaharama, Tissa Rainbow Guest & Yala provides accommodation with seating area. The air conditioning worked well plus a strong ceiling fan. The room was clean as well and the host provided an adapter in the room. He also welcomed us with two fresh coconut waters and on the morning of our safari at 5am he was kind enough to make us coffee. On our last day he gave us fresh watermelon slices before checking out. We were also picked up and dropped off from the bus station by the host. Very helpful and kind. Would recommend

Boasting river views, Riverview Cabana Tissamaharama features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.5 km from Tissa Wewa. The cleanest & most modern accommodation of my trip so far. Beautiful surroundings with birds who will wake you up by tapping on your window (so gorgeous!). Proper AC & a fridge which was an added bonus! Comfortable bed & attentive owner. Organised My safari trip.

Offering a garden and lake view, Blue Sky Hotel Yala is located in Yala, 3 km from Tissa Wewa and 28 km from Bundala Bird Sanctuary. Perfect location to relax close to Yala National park. Owners are really nice and there some good restaurants close by.

Mailagama Cinnamon Residence features free WiFi and views of mountain in Sellakataragama. Featuring a concierge service, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Our so far favourite place where we stayed! Great location, 30 min car ride from the Yala National Park. They organized a driver for the tour and prepared yummy take away breakfast for us! The staff was so helpful and kind, we especially liked manager Cassim who made sure that we felt really comfortable! We had two dinners and one breakfast and everything was really delicious, the place was clean and beds really comfortable. The room also has fan and AC - we don’t like AC but the silent fan ensured that we slept very well! The place has amazing views over the fields, beautiful garden, place to exercise, as I said, our favourite place so far!

Located just 2.5 km from Tissa Wewa, Blue Birds Tissa & Yala safari provides accommodation in Tissamaharama with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. My room was clean and spacious. But the best part of my stay was definitely the owner - funny and genuine. He took the time to show me the wildlife of his town and shared his love for birds with me. Definitely a highlight of my Sri Lanka experience.

Veldig hyggelig vert for overnattings stedet. Vi fikk god oppdatering kvelden før skulle dra på en privat 1/2 dags Safaritur. En fordel og ikke dra på Safari i helgene pga mange Safari jeeps. Fikk en fantastisk lunsj etter safarituren

Offering a restaurant, Isuru homestay Tissa is located just a 30 minutes to the Yala National Park and 1.3 km from the Tissamaharama Bus Station. We had a wonderful stay at this very unique and beautiful accommodation. The room was cozy with a comfortable bed and good AC. The owners garden is large, filled with plants and beautiful flowers, the scenery is very picturesque. We loved the large and tasty Sri Lankan breakfast we received. Our host gave us many great tips on what to see in the area and also organised private safari tours for us to Yala and to Bundala. It might have cost a bit more but it was worth it, our guide Isuru was amazing! We totally recommend this place, it’s really worth a stay!
