This hostel is definitely one of the best I've tried in a year in New Zealand! The atmosphere there is great. The staff is incredible, they put a lot of effort in the cleaning which makes the hostel super comfortable to live in. My room was big (dorm of 4), though the 2-beds dorms are quite small though. All of them have windows. Showers are huge with high pressure. It's on top of a beautiful hill, next to the most beautiful beach on the island... If you wanna play it chill for a few days, this is the hostel for you!

The hostel offers a sun terrace. You can play table tennis at United Auckland. All the facilities were available. They had a common kitchen and dining area. They had a separate leisure area at the 3rd floor which had a theatre setup and quiet room and a nice balcony for fresh air. The most important is the close proximity to everything in the CBD. The team were helpful and friendly.

The hostel offers dormitory and private rooms. Some include a seating area and storage lockers. The place waz conveniently located to the buses and ferry and train station. Despite not being close to the airport, you can get to this place in less than an hour. Took the express train for $18US and the ride was 48 minutes and 13 minutes walk total. There were grocery stores and lots of restaurants nearby. One thing I did not like about this hostel is that the kitchen is too small and I had to buy takeout instead of fighting my way in the kitchen. The room where I stayed was quiet. There were 5 other females staying the night and they were all very kind.

Space in the room was allright, things were kept clean, lots of shared bathrooms on each floor. Kitchen has lots of utensils.
