Our place is just across the road from all that Cairns City has to offer. We have private fully air conditioned accommodation for up to 4 adults in a non smoking environment, and you can even bring your pets. Onsite parking for your vehicle, and on road parking for your boat or caravan/camper. You can walk into town to the restaurants and bars, and it it only a stroll to get back home. We have just finished renovating this place, so it is in excellent condition with quality large queen size beds, a fully serviced kitchen, and a very comfortable lounge to relax in front of the large flat screen TV.
Christine and I are still working part time, but we are very active. We have a small boat that we take out around the estuaries and marina for an afternoon cruise. We constantly are going away on trips, and love to enjoy what Cairns has to offer in the way of entertainment and hospitality. We always make the effort to greet our guests, and try to help out with local information and are on call for any problems that may arise. Nothing is a problem to us, so just ask, and we will do our best to help out.
The neighborhood is fairly quiet, but we do have quite a few accommodation places in the area. As you can imagine, when on holidays people like to enjoy them selves, but on the whole, it is a quiet street. We know nearly everyone in our street, as we have lived in the street for over 25 years now. All good people, and some very good friends. You will enjoy sitting out the front watching the world go by at the leasurely pace that Queensland has to offer.
