We have two houses on the land, but only the smaller Cottage/Chalets is for rent. The Chalet or a cottage 24m2, is available for you, dear guests. Staying in a private cottage/chalets can be very cozy and especially convenient for families or friends travelling together. Even though the listing shows 2 people accommodation, then max 4 people may stay in the cottage having one bedroom and one living room with sleeping sofa. Bedsheet up to 4 people can be provided at no extra cost. The houses are heated up using geothermal district heating system having a jacuzzi in the garden. So enough hot water for shower, hot tub, washing, and to keep the houses warm and comfortable. The cottage is perfectly located on the south coast on the golden circle road. This area is a summerhouse area only 45 minutes driving from Reykjavik. Very quiet area, with lot of birds singing during summer. My land is over 5000 m2 with lot of trees making the spot very calm without wind. Beautiful mountain view. Drive from the main road only about 5 minutes. You will be perfectly located for day tours to popular tourist attractions in south of Iceland, such as the Golden Circle such as to Thingvellir National park, Geysir hot spring, and Gullfoss the waterfall. Other daytours along the south cost such as to Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss, to the black sand close to Vík í Mýrdal, Dyrhólaey, just to mention few popular options. If you are driving directly from Keflavik airport, then the easiest way to get to the cottage, is to set in directions from Keflavik to Kerhraun "cosy cottage" (google map) which is already registered there :) The driving time in 90 min or 1 hour 30 min +/-10 min
