A very cute little guest house a short drive from Friday Harbour. Check in was easy, the room was very clean and well furnished. Large bathroom with plenty of towels and toiletries. Would definitely stay again.

Locating the Discovery Inn was very easy as it was very close to the center of town and the ferry terminal. When I went in to check in, I was welcomed by Miriam the manager of the Inn. Miriam was super nice and an excellent source of information, from where to go for dinner to what to see on the island. We then went to the room, which was clean, cozy, and well equipped. Both my partner and I had a wonderful stay here and we would definitely stay here again. I have already recommended it to friends and family when I told them about my trip to San Juan Island!

It’s a great location, super quite and idyllic but still very close to Friday Harbor. The entire place is filled love and care, you can feel that Claudia and her family are very passionate about what they are doing. Everyday there is great breakfast, almost all of it being self-made, everyday there are fresh baked cookies and food to feed the lovely goats and Alpakas. After 5 nights at Trumpeter Inn we very sad to leave. We would come back any time!

The property is beautiful with friendly goats and alpacas. The owner Claudia was so nice and welcoming. She made us feel like we had been friends for years.

It's in a beautiful spot just outside Friday Harbour (we walked back after dinner 35 mins). Everything is impeccably clean and comfortable and the breakfast was the best we've had on our tour up the North-West coast. Claudia and her husband were welcoming and knowledgeable and we loved having some inside areas to chilll out as a family as well as visiting the alpacas and goats. A total gem - we suspect Trumpeter Inn is the best kept (or newest) secret on San Juan Island.IsabelFamily with young children
