Volcano Eco Cabin Retreat er fjallaskáli í Volcano, 16 km frá Kilauea og 9,6 km frá inngangi Volcano-þjóðgarðsins. We loved everything about the accomodation. The atmosphere is wonderful, in the middle of a forest, calmness, silence, beautiful starry nights, jungle sounds. The lodge has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, good wifi, everything is clean. It is very close, about a 20 minutes drive to Volcanoes National Park. I highly recommend to stay here if you visit Big Island. The hosts are so kind and helpful they really put their hearts and mind into this little lodge. Þetta fína smáhýsi í Waimea er staðsett við rætur Mauna Kea-eldfjallsins og býður upp á kapalsjónvarp með skrifborði og viftu (gegn beiðni). Hapuna-strönd er í 15 mínútna akstursfjarlægð. Awful awful place. Do not stay here. If you do... Well, I might have a harder time getting a room and/or paying more. So, yeah, definitely do not stay here. 😉

Situated on the black sands of Kauai, the oldest of the Hawaiian Islands, these oceanfront cottages in Waimea have been restored with plantation-period furniture and feature patios overlooking the... Charming collection of old cottages on site fronting a quiet beach. The cottages are all slightly different, but well equipped, comfortable and clean. It is charming and understated . The details on the Booking.com site really undersell the property. There are beautiful sunsets and the grounds are lovely to walk in. The property does have an independently run restaurant and bar on site. Close to the Waimea Canyon, so you can get a morning head start on other visitors.

Chalet Kilauea er staðsett í hinum suðrænu Ohi'a- og Hapu'u-regnskógi við innganginn að eldfjallaþjóðgarðinum Hawaii og býður upp á 3 einstaka gististaði: Chalet Kilauea Hotel, Lokahi Lodge og Volcano... Fantastic rooms, cosy, comfortable (very comfortable bed) and done with exceptional esprit. A unique experience. We actually looked forward to be back in the room after we finished our hiking tours.

Halema'uma'u-Hale Kumu La'au er staðsett í eldfjallinu, 19 km frá Kilauea og býður upp á stofu með sjónvarpi og ókeypis WiFi. The location in the woods was nice

Volcano Hale er 18 km frá Kilauea og býður upp á gistingu með garði, sameiginlegri setustofu og sameiginlegu eldhúsi, gestum til þæginda. Smáhýsið er með bæði WiFi og einkabílastæði án endurgjalds. Old historic property with a lot of charm. Very convenient location for exploring the National Park.

Kalani Oceanside Retreat er staðsett í Pahoa, 2,3 km frá Kehena Black Sand-ströndinni og býður upp á garðútsýni, ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði. The location was beautiful, so relaxing, tranquil and still close to a town. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We wished we got to do more of the classes /events on. Next time 😊

Lumeria Maui er námskeiðsmiðstöð sem er staðsett á hinu fallega svæði Upcountry Maui. The staff member John was very helpful. He introduced the property and some nice restaurants in Paia to us. When I needed some ice to treat my injury because I accidentally hit the trunk lid, he helped us right away. We really appreciate his kind assistance. The breakfast was also pretty good!

The Cabins at Kokee er staðsett í Waimea Park, 9 km frá Waimea-gljúfrinu. Fullbúið eldhús er í boði í öllum klefunum. Polihale-ströndin er 17 km frá gististaðnum. The Cabins are located inside Kokee State Park just a few minutes away from the Museum but a good 30 minute drive from Waimea. So it is best to bring your own food. As you are surrounded by nature and quietness at the lodging, expect to not have any kind of reception whatsoever. But if you are open to that and also want to spend some time hiking and exploring Kokee and Waimea Canyon this is a really good place to stay for a reasonable price. I was checking in rather late and although the office in Waimea closes at 5 pm it was enabled to check-in after, the staff was incredibly helpful with that. It is possible but I would not necessarily recommend driving up to the Cabins after sundown as the street is rather windy and completely dark. The cabin itself was lovely and definitely exceeding my expectations. There is everything you might need for living at the Cabin for a few days including a fully equipped kitchen with pots and pans, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, stove and oven and even a little firewood for the fireplace as it does get cold during the night and obviously the cabins are not completely wind proof. Upon check-in you are provided with clean sheets and towels and an additional blanket in case you need it. There is enough space for at least three if not four people at the Cabin.

West Kauai Lodging er staðsett í Waimea, nálægt svartri sandströnd. Þessi sumarhúsabyggð við ströndina er við innganginn að Waimea-gljúfrinu og Kokee-garðinum. Walkable area with neat shops and restaurants. Walking distance to the beach!!!! Spacious room with comfortable bed - you can hear the waves all night. Would absolutely recommend if there’s availability-amazing value!
