Greenfire Drakensberg Lodge ligger i Kruisfontein och har en bar. Boendet drivs av solenergi och erbjuder timmerstugor i kanadensisk stil. Beautiful location with stunning views and nice walking trails. The cabins were very cosy. At night it got quite cold, but there was a fireplace in the bedroom and the staff put warm water bottles in the beds. The meals were great and so were the staff and the dogs! We had a great time here, highly recommended!

Montusi Mountain Lodge offers a bar and is located 44 km from Bergville. Guests receive free Wi-Fi access, a children's playground and a swimming pool. Montusi Lodge will always be among the most special places we have ever visited. The grounds are gorgeous and location stunning - remote, with birdsong, epic views towards the Drakensberg amphitheatre and spectacular skies. The food is superb with a daily changing menu and we looked forward to 4 course dinners each evening (and the wine list!). We stayed 5 nights and hiked every day. Before we got there, Dumisani was super helpful with pre-organising transfers to the Royal Natal National Park (about 25km) which has fabulous hiking. Shorter self-guided trails can also be done on the Montusi estate, right from the lodge. A really impressive operation for such a remote location and hosts Lindsey & Mick and their lovely team are to be congratulated. Thanks for making us so welcome and accommodating our thirst for the great outdoors!

Excellent Host and accommodation in a beautiful area. The location is perfect, a little off for a very peaceful atmosphere. The house is huge and offers everything necessary for a great stay.

Situated within a nature reserve in Kamberg Valley, Qambathi Mountain Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi. Complimentary private parking is available on site. Amazing to relax after hiking in the drakensberg. It was above our expectations. Our best stay in South Africa by far!

Fantastic cosy location. Great and friendly service from each and every single staff member. Treated us as family. All meals were of great home cooked quality. Common areas were very warm and comfortable especially with a two year old in toe. Rooms were exceptionally clean. Comfortable beds with blankets/underfloor heating keeping us warm as it snowed during the night. Back-up generator helped during those load shedding hours - powering the entire lodge. An ideal place to escape for a few days of rest and relaxation.

Overlooking the Spioenkop Game Reserve, Three Tree Hill Lodge offers luxury accommodation. It features a sun deck next to an outdoor swimming pool. There are hiking trails and guided tours available. The staff are amazing and so accommodating and friendly. The location is spectacular- overlooking spionkop and you can see the Drakensberg mountains on the other side. Very family/kid friendly with toys and games in our cabin. Food was incredible too Absolutely loved our stay and would recommend and come back again
