Shepherds Tree Game Reserve is a lodge concession, located on the south western portion of the Pilanesberg Game Reserve and 18 km away from Sun City.

The elegantly furnished rooms offer views of the reserve and come with en-suite bathroom. The suites have a lounge area.

The lodge is a 2.5-hour drive from Johannesburg. Very welcoming staff who went out of their way to make us comfortable. They included special surprises as this was our honeymoon. The view from the room is unbelievable.

Both WiFi and private parking are available at the lodge free of charge. It was our second time and I cannot praise it highly enough. Everything is perfect. The staff are so kind. The accommodation is stunning. So much attention to detail. And the game drives were absolutely amazing. Our guide, Honest is so knowledgeable. We have been on many safaris but this time the viewings exceeded all the others. Madikwe and Rockfig Lodge are the best!

With garden views, Remhoogte Mountain Lodge is located in Jacksonstuin and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. The accommodation is air conditioned and comes with a hot tub. Our 2 apartments were amazing and very spacious.

Situated in Madikwe Game Reserve, Tau Game Lodge provides luxury accommodation with air conditioning and access to a private deck. Complimentary WiFi is available.

All meals are included at Tau Game Lodge, as well as 2 safaris per night booked. Fantastic location in the reserve. Great food and excellent service by the team there. The restaurant headed by Ex Chef Rea was a treat listening and catering to our every whim despite us being a large group. To top the service was the hospitality with the complimentary cakes, wines for our birthday and anniv in our group. Not to mention the beautiful dance by team to bring in the birthday. The game safari guide James was super … thanks for making our trip so memorable. Wish we had stayed more than a day !

Impodimo Game Lodge provides luxury accommodation with private deck in the malaria-free Madikwe Game Reserve.

The air-conditioned suites at Impodimo Game Lodge are decorated in neutral tones and offer a fireplace and en suite bathroom with additional outdoor shower. Do not hesitate – book this property right away! It was by far the most exceptional travel we have ever done (and we travel quite a bit). The lodge is absolutely gorgeous and I’d like to highlight that the pictures DO NOT do justice to the actual look of the place. The safari rides are exceptional and Madikwe is truly a beautiful reserve. From game drives, to brunch, high tea, dinner, massage, library with tons of books, chessboards available for random games, swimming pools, lounges around the lodge… you will never be bored and will be left with tons of memories. Finally to conclude - we would like to particularly highlight the STAFF, possibly the best experience we ever had. Our ranger Ryan has shown exceptional professionalism & impeccable service in everything he was doing. We were touched by his passion for his job and animals, and truly felt like we were going on drives with a living encyclopedia, amazing! We always felt safe during the rides and overall very well taken care of – from the first moment we got to know him, to the “good-mood wake up calls at 4:30am”, until the very last transfer to our airplane back to Johannesburg where he “winged at us” while we were taking off. Linda has been wonderful in welcoming us to the property, teaching us about baboons and elephants around the lodge and joking around with us. Spa, the executive chef, delivered the most amazing dishes, showed us the wine cave and was really looking after every experience with great attention and amiability. The overall staff taking care of the kitchen and rooms were wonderful with a true 5 stars attention to detail and care, with a welcome drink at any point in time. You know what we mean when one week after the trip, we are STILL talking about the Impodimo lodge and its wonderful team. Thank you!

Milorho Lodge is located in the Rietfontein area near Rustenburg on the slopes of the Magaliesburg mountains. It offers self-catering cottages.

A sun terrace is available on site and both cycling, rock pools and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of Milorho Lodge. Kiaat Lodge was beautiful and peaceful. There was nothing not to like

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Ukutula Lion Lodge is located in Brits. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. The accommodation will provide you with air conditioning and a terrace. There is a full a kitchenette with a microwave and a refrigerator. The private bathroom comes with a shower and a hairdryer. You can enjoy garden view from the room. This property is so personal and beautiful. The workers to the owner made everything unique. For a solo traveler it was extremely safe. Just make sure you book their transportation company. My major credit card ambassador program booked everything but personal book directly through them.

Set in the Black Rhino Game Reserve, Morokolo Safari Lodge Self-catering offers an outdoor pool with view of the Pilanesberg Mountains and a hot tub. Guests can experience an African safari with a dedicated game ranger. The location and the facilities for a larger group. it was nice to have ample accommodation for separate family groups. it was peaceful and the surrounding nature. We felt that we were alone and no sense of being crowded with many other tourists. Friendly competent staff.

Located in Brits, Mokuru Private Nature Reserve provides pool views and free WiFi, 18 km from Dikhololo Game Reserve and 27 km from Hartbeeshoek Nature Reserve.

Vaalkop Dam Nature Reserve is 38 km from the lodge, while Borakalalo National Park is 47 km away. Everthing about Mokuru we love , the staff was very friendly and always there to help
