Fantastic stay. Very comfortable new beds, cool air conditioning, extremely quick internet speed. Meals (Breakfast and dinner) at the restaurant on site were great. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect for work trips, and will be staying again.

This is the perfect place for us to stay - especially if we are there for more than 1 or 2 nights. It is the perfect setup for working, there is a specific office desk with office chair and desk lamp and plenty of room on the desk. And they have gone to the extra trouble to put in 4 powerpoints! Impressive. The desk is inside the bedroom and there is a comfy bed and a tv so basically I work in there and then if I work late I can close the door so that my husband can get some quiet sleep in the other room where there are 2 other beds in the studio part of the apartment. There is another tv and kitchenette and table and chairs. Full size fridge freezer, microwave and cooktop. There's a big sink and they always leave dishwashing liquid which is handy. All the utensils that you need are there to prep and cook your own meals then clean up. The motel is big and spacious and there's an outside alfresco area as well with table and chairs and you can open the door and let the breeze and fresh air in and you overlook a nice little garden and the back of the commercial building next door but it's quiet and its private. Beds are comfortable and crisp clean linen and plenty of towels - in fact I put some towels away when we were there and don't use them, they are the most generous accommodation ever with their towels. Big bathroom with a bath and toilet again plenty of space there and soap and toiletries. The accommodation also has a laundry - just make sure you have coins for the machines and washing powder. It washes well, I have used it when we've been there. The hosts are lovely and go out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of for you and that you have a comfortable stay. AND the rooms are serviced EVERY DAY! Many accommodation places are not. I can't fault this place, it is our go to accom in Mackay - the only thing is that obviously everyone knows about it so when we can get in we are glad.

Our hosts made us feel a part of the family. We even received a courtesy call once we'd checked out, advising us of a road closure due an accident ahead of us and to take an alternate route. Our bed was sooo comfortable too. 😴
