Set overlooking Picton Harbour, Beachcomber Inn Picton offers an outdoor pool, free parking and free WiFi. It is 800 metres from Picton Ferry Terminal and 400 metres from the Picton Train Station. We needed wifi for business and the staff relocated us to a better room to accommodate us. Nice view of the harbor. Very close to the ferry and food.

Just 15 minutes by boat from Picton, The Portage Resort offers rooms with a private balcony or patio and features stunning views of the Marlborough Sounds.You can relax by the outdoor pool, go fishing... The hotel is under new management and I could not fault it. The staff were welcoming, attentive and super friendly. The reception and restaurant area looked newly renovated and was modern and fresh. My meal in the restaurant was very tasty. The bed was incredibly comfortable and I slept well. And the General Manager very kindly dropped me back to the start of the QC track in the morning. Plus the sunset view from the bar is breathtaking. Don’t be put off By the bad reviews - the new management seem to be doing a fantastic job!
