We enjoyed our conversations with them and their hospitality. We both liked the option to pick your breakfast time and select what you wanted from the menu. We stayed three nights and ate dinner there each night and were never disappointed, great selections too. Chris was more than willing to provide a lift somewhere when needed. We highly recommend a stay at Church Hill.

Nestled amongst peaceful native bushland, Kaka Retreat Motel, Stewart Island offers spacious modern suites with kitchenette, flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi. There was a separate room for the bed. I also liked that they provided plates and cups.

With panoramic views of the Tasman Sea, The Bay Motel overlooks Halfmoon Bay on Stewart Island. It features a nearby golf course, a free shuttle service and free private parking on site. Our hosts…. Donna and Ted were there to welcome us on the jetty which was sooo welcoming after a particularly rough ferry ride They helped with the luggage and made sure we were comfortable That truly made our stay special

Stewart Island's iconic South Sea Hotel is located on the foreshore, in the centre of town. It is 2 minutes’ walk from the ferry and airline terminals. The property is just across the street from the beach in Oban. It has a bar and cafe on premise which I enjoyed.
