Nestled in the mountains 3.2 km away from Yosemite National Park, the Tenaya Lodge features personalised services, modern amenities, and a full-service spa. The hotel is great. The kids particularly loved coming back from a long day of hiking and going to the Arcade room. They especially liked the air hockey. They also loved making smores in the fire outside. For the adults, we loved the all the hotel. The service and attention from the staff was exceptional. And the service seemed genuine in the sense that the staff really wanted to make sure we had a great experience. Finally, though we didn't make use of them, they had several things available to make the most of your time in Yosemite (for example, spikes to add to your shoes for the snow/ice).

This historic lodge is located on the shore of Twin Lakes and surrounded by mountains and skiing. The lodge was built in 1924 and provides seasonal bike and boat rentals. Cosy, fab old style accommodation and service. Great to stay somewhere without air conditioning, although we were there in spring! Lovely staff and our fellow guests were happy people too. We had a basic room with bathroom which was all we needed for 3 nights. Thanks

This resort is located in Mammoth Lakes and is within 5 minutes' drive of the Inyo National Forest. It offers a golf course, a heated outdoor pool and a hot tub. The location is excellent. We visited in Fall, so the ski has not started. The trolly has a stop right in front of the resort which is nice for family especially older people and young kids.
