I really liked the host, they were very kind and helpful to me. I always wanted to try how to live in RV, so I was completely satisfied with my experience. There is also a nice garden that you could roam and get to the nice river.

Orewa is easy to find and has excellent choice for food - the whole area is well laid out and in a wonderful setting of mature trees, parks, walkways, convenient access to beach and parking. The shops are interesting and locals friendly. Just feels like a peaceful easy place to be.

A friendly small town but packed full of different cafes and restaurants.
I know it can get very busy during the peak summer months but late summer seems to be a good time to visit. Busy but not crowded.

The beach was within walking distance and it was a nice sandy very clean beach. There was plenty of free parking for people travelling or those living further away.
You have everything you need all in walking distance, so no need for a car if you are staying locally.
There are plenty of good restaurants and cafes.
Most properties had a sea view, and if you are staying in one of the hotels you will see an amazing sunset.

Orewa is amazing. We used to live nearby.
Orewa is amazing. We used to live nearby. Absolutely a place to stay for any age. Now there's lots of pavement dining and great restaurants and bars. The beach is stunning. Lots of locals and visitors walk up and down the beach. Great for dog-walking, but be aware of when you keep your dog on a lead.
We were so pleased! The condo was spacious and perfect for my family of three...we all had our own rooms with en-suite bathrooms. The full kitchen was perfect for cooking at home. It's located just across from Orewa beach and a block from the restaurants and grocery stores. There were boogie boards, washer/dryer, wifi...really it had everything and it is perfect for a larger family or even two families as it has two living room areas with large TV. We were just so happy with the accommodations and hope to stay again!
The Premier Suite is stunning with exceptional views! Friendly customer service on arrival – nothing was a problem. Came with 2 decent sized secured car parks with easy access in and out. Couldn't have asked for a better location with everything you need within walking distance as well as the beach. Facilities at the hotel were great! We are all in agreement that will definitely stay here again next time we're in Auckland.
Super friendly and accommodating staff. Great decor, big bathroom with heated towel rack and lots of hot water. It has a kitchenette and a separate bedroom, so we had our privacy. It was a fantastic location - right across the street from the beach and a couple blocks from restaurants and grocery. It was a wonderful experience, and we only want to stay there when we visit Orewa!
The unit was lovely with everything you need for a short stay. I was extremely impressed with how clean it was. The host was lovely and even brought us some bug spray, fresh milk in fridge and teas and coffees. It is so conveniently situated 2 mins away from main Orewa beach and multiple restaurants and cafes as well as the New World. Would recommend to anyone!!
Location was great, six blocks from shopping centre of Orewa and beach. Very easy to find, host was very helpful letting us know about cafes and shopping facilities. Accommodation was very attractively set out and very clean. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay in Orewa.
Silverdale Garden Stay is an amazing enclave of tranquility in heavily populated North Auckland. The apartment is wonderfully provisioned with everything a traveler could need and all is situated in a magnificent garden. It will amaze any first time guest and like us, they will likely want to stay again.
The unit is close to central Orewa and the north, south motorways. The back gate opened to the paths around the estuary for a good morning walk or great coffees in town.
The accommodation was "clean and comfortable" with everything we needed for our 10 day stay
This motel is on the beautiful beach at Orewa. Lovely that it wasn't a high rise motel
We were late arriving due to car problems and the hosts made sure the heater was on for us such a nice touch.
Comfortable beds with nice linen
How lucky we are that our return to traveling starts with the Edgewater. We used public transport. Just a 10 min walk from the Orewa shops. Beautiful beach for strolling. Warm beds and a complete kitchen topped off a pleasant stay.
Great place to stay when travelling from Far North to Akld where we caught. long haul flight. We always enjoy staying at the Beachcomber which is conveniently located for beach walks and restaurants, cafes in central Orewa.
The property offered both morning and afternoon outdoor seating areas. Although it was on the main highway in Orewa, it was almost completely soundproof. It was only a two-minute walk around the corner to the beach.
